FAQ
1) What is the pricing for your pieces?
The pricing for all pieces on the projects page are listed there. This includes your choice of stain color, and a tailoring of dimensions should you want something larger or smaller than those listed in the description (within reason). If it's an upholstered piece, the price quoted on the projects page is for higher end upholstery fabric. As always, material choice is up to you depending on what is available, but this is a pretty good price representation of the material I feel is warranted for the represented piece. Super high end/exotic materials may incur an additional charge if they are available, but that can be discussed during consultation.
Prices for all custom pieces are dependent on what the customer wants, and will be quoted within five days of the initial conversation.
2) What types of wood and finishes do you use?
The wood species that I use can vary, but typical ones would include Sapele, Ash, Mahogany, Walnut, and Red and White Oak. Flexible plywood may be used for pieces when needed, and will generally be done with a birch veneer. Details of all wood used on current projects are listed on the projects page. Pricing may vary if species such as Walnut, Teak, Zebra etc are requested, unless they are otherwise stated in the use of the project listed.

In regards to finishes, the choice of stain/color treatment is up to the customer at no additional cost. I usually finish off all wood pieces with Tung oil, and then lastly apply a furniture wax.

3) What is the turnaround time to make a piece?
Production time is generally 10-14 days per piece. More complicated pieces like "Les Arches" can take up to 21 days. If something like a set of two accent chairs is requested, then production time could be aroumd 14-20 days. Actual time is usually shorter, but I've been on the other end of having a time frame quoted, and when it gets extended there tends to be disappointment and frustration for both parties. This is the last thing I ever want to have happen, hence why I overestimate. Should any time constraints arise, you will be notified immediately.

4) Do you ship?
Shipping is available. Due to the nature of these pieces, none of them are "flat-packed" like most large distribution furniture companies do, so shipping costs tend to be a bit higher. A good estimation of shipping costs can be quoted for you ahead of time to see if they're agreeable with your budget.
5) Can I choose a charity to donate the portion of proceeds from my purchase to if they're not ones you already work with?
Absolutely! I'm extremely passionate about charitable causes. If you have a cause that you have a particular affinity for, I would be more than willing to help support it (with a few exceptions).
